How stupid.  Can't close or delete account?  Thanks for putting me at risk of identity theft and hackers.  No website is 100% secure, 100% of the time.

How on earth can a dormant tech forum account possibly put you at any security risk, you don't keep any banking or personal details on your profile do you ?

 

Curious as to why you have waited almost twelve years to post asking about this.
