Ok, so far the new adblocker seems to be working OK.  However, the number of ads killed on the yahoo mail page is currently at 648 and still increasing, and that's from when I first logged on 6 hours ago.  It seems ridiculously high.  Task manager currently shows ~700MB of memory used (again from when I first logged on 6 hours ago) whcih still seems high, even if it's not 1GB+.

With that said, I'm not getting the freezing problems at least, but the number of ads and the memory used is still concerning.

I have another case complaining of Yahoo mail freezing so I'm pretty sure it's just Yahoo mail that is messed up.

why did opera, with only one yahoo mail tab opened, run out of memory a few times than though? it actually crashed the site and i needed to reload it. never happened before all this time. i am very confused atm.

648 ads is certainly overkill.  Ublock Origin is really earning its keep.   I think the number I gave you was for only a few minutes.
