I thought this may also help. I always used an old applet on cuddles, when I clicked on it now it said this error;
ERROR
C;\WINDOWS\system32\AUTOEXEC.NT could not be opened. Please check
that your disk is not full and that you have access to the destination directory. Access denied.

Last night I was logged in as Administrator1, when my downl.oads stopped working. I the '' Properties'' of tthe download and the errored path was; Cannot open file C:\DOCUME~1.000\Locals
\Temp~3BCCDB4EEE.~h.
I suceeded in downloading by taking out these...(~~~~& 1 ). My thoughts were that this will be just one more added UNoffical user.
My firewall keeps giving me an alarm about my NT & Kernel is closed, even tho its check ''allowed open''.
I did some reading about corrupted kernels & for programs to fix the problem. I didnt see any programs that I trust to change and clean my registry.
I think solving the problem of adding on users , fix "...A temp file needed for initalization could not be created or could not be written to. Make sure that the directory path exists".... Somethimes the error is labeled an "Error" or a " 16 bit subsystem error".
I'll be happy to hear if you found any answers,

The above sounds correct. What you download is an installer that sits in a temporary directory then you run the installer to put the program on the computer. Then when you delete the temp files the installer gets deleted also. It sounds like everything was being ran from a TEmp directory and when CCleaner was ran it deleted these. Thats why the computer is looking in a Temporary folder and it gives you the error because it is gone.

Make sense :tazz:

Is your desktop the same as it has always been just you cant run any programs

Did this all start when you rann Ccleaner and cleanup?
