A little troble installing the other drivers.I still have the yellow ''?''s.
When I boot up I get ,cannot find a device file that may be needed to run windows or a windows application. The windows registry or SYSTEM.INI file refers to this device file, but the device file no longer exits,it says more but at the end it has vnetsup.vxd, press any key to continue,I do,it comes up a few more times.Than a box comes up saying, Unable to load the dynamic link library: msnp32.dll The system cannot find the file specified.

Hi John....

Don't you just love installing drivers?

Download msnp32.dll to your desktop. Extract it to a floppy or cd, and copy/paste it into the System folder (C:Windows\System) on the machine you're working on.

For the other issue, have a look at this Microsoft Procedure to resolve the problem.

Wannabe 1,
:)

Installing drivers is a pain.Didn't know it would be this much a problem.I'm at a lost.
No luck so far. The microsoft site said I may have to reinstall the Windows program. The pc was used when I got it, so I don,t really know what was on it or not. There was only 8 icons on the desktop. Only trouble is, I have the win.98se cd,but the win.98se floppy 3.5 boot disk was ruined. Anyway thanks for all your help and support. I really do appriciate it. Hope you don't mind if I still need help ,I can give you a call? Any feedback or recomendations would be more than welcome.Still not sure what to do.((((((Can you tell me where I can get a floppy boot disk and what files will be on it?))))))) Thanks----
Thanks-Again,
John God :tazz:
