haha, are you shure or do you want a real server chip that is single core?

The opteron single core chips are for servers and you can get some of the opteron chips around $180. Maybe less.


You can get 1 opteron single core chip.

on the socket 939 the lowest priced opteron single core is $196. Then add a motherboard and memory. So you could get the cpu,1gb memory and motherboard around $350 without shipping.

On the socket 940 they have a opteron chip that is $160 but then you have to get an expensive motherboard lol...

I think your better off with what you got the colonel.
