Hmm i got a other idea.
Instead of using my boxes as the audio output why don't i use my usb headset?
Great i installed the usb , and still nothing i'm getting pissed..
control panel , multimedia , audio here i can't chance anything ..everything is locked and no device for audio ..
grr :s
ridi found the files for the usb , and still it says no audio and maybe this can give a clue to what's wrong but i can't chance anything in the control panel --> multimedia-> audio tab evryting is locked..

If you uninstall it as a device (not physically remove it), then do not update anything for it, you should be able to do something with the onboard sound

Those drivers would be on the motherboard CD, or Everest will say what the onboard sound is

well uehm What the...
I removed some ( all aviable audio in the hardware manager rebooted) let it find software etc..
The weird thing is ..
It seems to work but still no sound
When i now check multimedia --> audio --> i have a device . And sounds i can now test them.
But still no sound it really odd i've also got a volume in my taskbar below now :help:
So i'm guessing were getting closer.

Audio now states that i can choose Ess Audiodriver playback (1400)
or 'availbe device use' --> if i choose latter one there's nothing so

well i still don't know what do to :) but i feel we got closer :s
seeing as i now have a volume setter below and i can play sound just don't know what know
