I don't know if I have a virus or malware issue. I have a HP laptop running Windows 8.1 64-bit, last night I was on the internet and when I was waiting for a web page to load it said I had an issue with my internet which it clearly shows I'm connected but no websites will load. I have ran anti-virus programs, and others that have cleaned up my computer but I'm still having an issue and don't know what is causing it. Same thing happened to my PC desktop few years ago but I had to re-install Windows and I want to avoid doing that only as a last resort.

 

Any suggestions? I posted a log on the Malware forum.

How do I search for the guide I think I might need?  There are 36 pages of removal guides but I have not found a search option.  Do I have to scroll through 36 pages to see if you have a guide for removing my malware?

Hello, i have a virus, a TROJAN_GENERIC.ADV virus which i cant remove, i desperately need help and advice.
i would really appreciate some guidance in how to delete it, ive tried in different ways but i cant delete the file infected by it.
