I'm happy for now unless I decide to upgrade again which I won't till next summer or maybe boxing day if I'm lucky. I can't find 8800GTs or 3870s in Toronto or anywhere else so I hope they'll have them soon before I go buy something really stupid.

:) NCIX.ca almost gets weekly shipments, seriously check out the site :)
You can get a GTX for 450$, black friday sale, keep a close eye open for the new 8800GTS's, they should beat the GTX for less $$$.

Does NCIX accept money orders? Because for some reason I can't use my Paypal with my bank account and the only way to get money in there is to sell something on ebay, which I can't at the moment. And so for now I can send money orders, thats how I got my rads.

I have only used a credit card, my moms to be more specific (just applied for my own). Try using your parents CC (if they will let you).

Is this build out of date yet? Also, does anyone know if the 8800 GTS 1 GB rumor was true?

Everything still looks pretty good, but you might be able to get the bits cheaper by now :)

As for the 1GB graphics card, I'm not too sure. This is the only 1GB Nvidia graphics card Newegg is currently selling... :)

I've found out that the 8800 GT's preform better then the 8800 GTS on newegg. I have found this video card.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130303 Is this a good one and is there any better ones for less money or 50 dollars more? I plan on overclocking it.

The 8800GT performs better than the old 8800GTS (based on the G80 core... in either 320MB or 640MB). However, the new 8800GTS (based on the G92 core... with 512MB) performs better than the 8800GT.

As of yet, there are no 8800GTS 1GB cards currently available, but there are reports of 8800GT 1GB cards that are available or will soon be available.

A few things:

1. You are forgetting both a motherboard and a PSU.
2. I would strongly advise against getting an 8800GTX, as the 8800GT and 8800GTS (G92) perform very closely to the 8800GTX (and if overclocked they can perform in some cases better) for much less money. Also, there are new high-end cards (D8E) coming out in January and the next generation of NVIDIA cards (9 series) should debut in February or March. With this in mind, it makes no sense to invest that much in a card that will be so quickly outdated. If you must get an 8800GTX, get it from EVGA so you can use Step-Up to upgrade to a better video card within 90 days of purchase. This will cover the January D8E release, and may cover the 9 series release if you are lucky.

Subtotal: $834.8 without video card,mouse,keyboard,

I already have XP professional because I can get XP Professional 32 bit for 20 dollars, a guy will just ship me a sticker for 20 bucks. Its 100% legit.

It would be nice if I could get a video card, mouse and keyboard all for $165.2, I understand that that I may have to spend up to 1100 dollars. What do you think I only get 2 GB of ram, and save 70 dollars, so then I have $235 to spend on the keyboard, mouse, and video card, then buy another 2 GB ram later?

Thanks,
-Kais3r

P.S. Any of your thoughts are highly appreacheated :)
