I listen to music all the hours a day I'm on the computer (12+ per day), plus in my car... in the shower... you get the drift. I listen to anything from Country to Pop to Rock to Oldies to 80's Rock to ... you get the drift again.
What are you listening to?

Yeah, I think you're the only one I don't really like classical music, my parents are big fans of it though.

Fredil, I have a pretty good collection of classical music. My parents listened to a lot of it when I was growing up and took me to many concerts. In school and music camp I played in orchestras and sang in the choir, so I have a lot of exposure to it. With the exception of certain pieces, I'm not a big fan of piano pieces, for some reason, but I love baroque choral works, symphonies, and chamber music.

What kind of exceptions?
I like baroque, never really listened to any chamber music though. I'm mainly into Chopin and Rachmaninov (yes, they wrote mainly for piano).

I mostly listen to WFMU wfmu.org because most radio in the NY tri-state area tries to be all things to all people and fail miserably. Or they are so niched they make you ill. WFMU is a volunteer-run listener supported station with very diversified formats. Lots of fun. They latest band I bought a CD of from hearing it on wfmu is The Bush Tetras, a punk alternative band from the ancient 80's. Also been listening to a CD I received for Xmas; the soundtrack for Scrubs (the TV show). Colin Hay (of Men At Work) does an acoustic version of Overkill on the Scrubs CD that gives me chills; very haunting.

Avril Lavigne - When you're gone
Awesomely powerful and soul-reaching music, I really like Avril's voice.
