We're getting a screened-in porch added to our house this summer, so I get to oversee construction (and listen to hammering, sawing, etc.).

I absolutely love amusement parks, however I equally hate the lines you have to stand in, so I rarely go. My average is probably about 1 time out of every 2 or 3 years, and even then I try to go on a day when school has already started or during the week when I think a lot of people won't be there. I have a Six Flags about a half-hour from my home.

that must stink having to wait in line for ever. Oaks park doesn't have a huge amount of people coming in all the time. so we can go a lot. We go about 3 times each year.

This may be a bit to the worst of days, but my girlfriend went with a couple friends last summer, and they road 4 rides in the entire time they were there which was around 9 hours or so. So, like a 2 hour wait per ride. She wasn't very happy paying the $40.00 or so for her ticket just for that.
