I am not at all familiar with 'ghosting the hard drive' or what ever they call it. To me, why would you do that if the hard drive is bad. But sometimes 'things are not as they seem' lol
I just assumed he knew what he was talking about. Should he not have done it that way?
It is a wireless connection.
Prior to the new hard drive I would not even power my laptop off because it would take forever to power it up. Well I decided to power it off last night & it took several attempts to power up today.

Just read the other post. And it sounds like my thinking about 'ghosting' the hard drive is accurate. And that I wasted my money because he basically gave me the same problem, just on a new hard drive.
