sorry wrong topic

use msconfig again and disable Avast on the startup tab...reboot and see what happens...you can disconnect from the internet first...we are just trying to see if its Avast causing the freeze

I have tried to disable avast it wont let me so I will uninstall and see what happens and send a screen shot
