OK lets check the hard drive now.
Run hard drive diagnostics: http://www.tacktech....ay.cfm?ttid=287
Make sure, you select tool, which is appropriate for the brand of your hard drive.
Depending on the program, it'll create bootable floppy, or bootable CD.
If downloaded file is of .iso type, use ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/ to burn .iso file to a CD (select "Write image file to disc" option), and make the CD bootable.

NOTE. If your hard drive is made by Toshiba, try the Hitachi DFT CD Image version of the software

Thanks to Broni for the instructions

Looks to me like a driver issue from the reports you posted.
Go HERE and look for this at the beginning of the page.
Automatically Identify and find Wired Ethernet Drivers and right under that you will see the link with the same name. Click that and then see if it finds a newer driver then 11.4.7.0
If it does then install the newer driver and then we can see if the error stops at that point.

I knew ASUS was good but impressive they determined it was bad that quick.
Please let us know how everything turns out with resolving the issue or if you need further assistance once you have the new mobo.
