Hm i get to application data and cant see eset
Looking back over my old OTL log could i ask what this is?
Politecnico di Torino - From some googling it is a Italian University.

That controls the net packet filter and is a custom made one for that university. Did you get this second hand ?

It is an on demand driver and has not been runing on any of the logs I have seen. I would be reluctant to remove it but you can disable it via services

WinPcap is the industry-standard tool for link-layer network access in Windows environments:


Within services it will be described as (NPF) NetGroup Packet Filter Driver set it to disabled and then reboot and check your network connectivity

How would the driver of been installed?

and what would be the disadvantages of disabiling it?

It was installed with the initial system - was this made for you ? or is it a shop bought one ?


It may have no effect on your connectivity but it is better safe than sorry, it is easier to restore if you disable than if I kill it

Blue screen returns!
The weird thing is i dont even get a blue screen the screen just goes blank
