no i dont the router is Edimax AR-7284WnA ive downloaded the film ware but cant install it because it wont connect might be thats packed up as well lol

OK next step is to reset the router.
At the back is a small hole maybe marked reset in teeny writing
Insert a paper clip to depress the button there
Hold it for a few seconds
Allow the router to reboot and then try again..
You say that the old modem connects quite happily ?

good put some of my games on and haven't had a problem so hopefully thats it . the only thing is the motherboard
but that better not go or it will stay down till i get it fixed .

its a new box got it last year lol so nearly there need a wires modem first
