I ran the memtest 14 hrs 6 passes no errors . I've gone ahead and shut down for a few hours I want to see if I have any problems next time a boot up. Since it seems to be after the computer is off for awhile that's when I have problems when I turn it on.

Ok, Let me know the error you got.

Ok I let the computer stay off for most of the day I turned it on and right after i log in keyboard stops working and mouse stops working I hold down the button turn off. I let it stay off for an hour came back something. Went to safe mode and again keyboard and mouse stopped working. This time I went to safe mode and instead of logging on I just clicked restart. Windows started normal logged on and as soon and main screen came up i got a BSOD.

On Mon 10/7/2013 8:51:52 PM GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\100713-20982-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x75B80)
Bugcheck code: 0x19 (0x3, 0xFFFFF8000306A920, 0xFFFFF8000306A900, 0xFFFFF8000306A900)
Error: BAD_POOL_HEADER
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a pool header is corrupt.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

Hi,

Let's check for driver conflicts...

  • Click Start Posted Image to open the Start Menu
  • in the Search box type msconfig and then press Enter to start the System Configuration utility.
(If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, you should type the password or provide confirmation.)
  • On the General tab, click the Selective startup option, and then click to clear the Load startup items check box.
(The Use Original Boot.ini check box is unavailable.)

    Posted Image
  • On the Services tab, click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.

    Posted Image
  • Click OK, when you are prompted, click Restart.

This procedure will disable your Antivirus please avoid downloading new files until we re-enable the disabled programs.
I would like you to use the computer and restart it several times to see if the BSOD occurs.

ok i restarted 5 times no BSOD

This will be a tedious work...
Repeat the steps above and on the Services tab enable a group of five services then restart and test the machine to see if the BSOD happens again.
You need to repeat this until you find the group associated with the BSOD, knowing the group you have to enable/disable one by one until you find the culprit.

OK did all that and no problems.

Hi,

So all services are now actives and no BSOD?

If that is the case then do the same steps now for the Startup tab.

Hi SleepyDude,

After I ran those last night I set them all back on and then shut the pc down and went to sleep. Ok so now this morning.... like I said it seems to be only after the pc is off for a few hours. I booted up this morning and first thing after logging on keyboard and mouse unresponsive. Hold power button. Options to boot normal or safe mode go to safe mode log in and keyboard and mouse freeze. Another hard shut down. Get to safe mode and restart. Normal windows log in type password and BSOD .. "System Services something" error code 0x0000003b

shut down restart pc another BSOD Irql not less or equal error code0x0000000A. Shut down restart pc runs and black screen. Do it again and option for windows to repair comes up restores to earlier time, and here I am.

Are you using any IEEE 1394 devices?

Is the computer an HP? if so please post the exact model usually on a sticker on the machine.

Did you do any upgrades to the computer or is the original configuration?
