gDAY.

No, only the OTLPENet.exe is burned to CD.   Please do the following, then post back.

  • Ensure that you have a blank CD in the drive
  • Double click OTLPENet.exe  on the desktop.
  • imgburn will open and automatically load the OTLPENet.exe file to burn,
  • in the lower window, click the Burn disk, (on the left)
  • Wait for the "successful burn notice", then eject the disc and label it.

Ok I have successfully burned the cd and its labeled OTLPENet.exe ....

The next step says to "connect the USB flash drive" what "usb flash drive" do you speak of? Do you mean my "external drive"?

I also do not know what you mean by "save the FRST to the root of the flash drive"? I have no clue what that mean .. I am so sorry for all the questions and confusion :(

Hey,

USB Flash Drive = USB Stick. An USB stick could also be an external drive, make sure you save the file to your External drive and then connect it to your computer.

I also do not know what you mean by "save the FRST to the root of the flash drive"

Simply save the FRST.exe on your external drive, but make sure it isn't in a folder on your Drive.

Was this clear enough? :)

Yes, carry on from "Reboot the "bad computer" using the boot CD you just created.

Can you see the FRST. txt result log.

That's good news.

If you want to control where downloads go to, instead of the Default Firefox location.

Click the orange Firefox button.
