Should I do a full scan? (Takes long) That's how those bugs were last found? Or should I do a regular scan?

Gday.

Quick scan was OK this time.

Please do the Revo screenshots again, ensuring you show the Details view., as in the image in reply #406.  We need the details to know versions/dates and the vender installing the program.

Thanks.

Thanks, exactly what we needed.   Please look through the list and make a note of any programs you no longer use or need.

We need to clean out System Restore Points as they are contaminated.

Please follow the instruction, > http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555367

Good.

Please now create a manual restore point, name it "Clean Up"

You have Speccy installed, please run it and post the URL from the results address bar window.

Have you made a list of the programs you no longer use or need?

Just realized the disc cleanup isnt done yet ... once I minimized my browser I noticed it is still cleaning ..... have a small window "disc cleanup" it says "the disc utility is cleaning up unnecessary files on your machine" ... seems to be taking a really long time/ is that normal?

Should I wait or should I continue and create the new restore point and run speccy?

yes I have a list of programs but some I am unsure of what they are so I don't want to uninstall something important ...

I also didnt realize that I have Adobe Photoshop CS2 installed but cant find it in my "all programs" list ...

Please let the disk clean up run until finished and yes, it could take a long time.

Perform the system restore when Clean up has finished then the Speccy run.

short cuts/icons like Photoshop CS2 are probable left over bits which we will clean up as we go.

Hi ... the cleanup finally finished this morning.

I created a new restore point and named it "cleanup".

I ran Piriform Speccy and it needed to update so I updated it ... however I don't see an address bar??

Also Revo is still open .. do I close it??

And also noticed my sound isn't working, says no sound device ...

Thanks for the update.

Yes, close Revo.

If open, please close Speccy then, > Run Speccy, > click file, > click publish.  in the window that opens, > click yes,  in the window that opens, > click,  copy to clipboard, > right click in your reply > click paste.   Close Speccy.
