No errors popped up during the install, so I think everything went okay! But was something supposed to change after the install, because all the "unknown devices" are still there.

Hi,
I'm not sure this will make any difference but let's fix the unknown devices...
- Go back to the Device Manager and uninstall all the unknown devices, right click in each of them and click Uninstall
- Reinstall the devices using devcon. Open the Command Prompt as Administrator and copy & paste the following commands:
copy nul c:\windows\inf\rasirda.sys devcon64 install c:\Windows\inf\netrasa.inf MS_NdisWanIp devcon64 install c:\Windows\inf\netrasa.inf MS_NdisWanIpv6 devcon64 install c:\Windows\inf\netrasa.inf MS_NdisWanBh devcon64 install c:\Windows\inf\netrasa.inf MS_L2tpMiniport devcon64 install c:\Windows\inf\netrasa.inf MS_PppoeMiniport devcon64 install c:\Windows\inf\netrasa.inf MS_PptpMiniport devcon64 install c:\Windows\inf\netsstpa.inf MS_SstpMiniport
- Restart the computer
- Open the Device Manager, if the Miniport devices installed correctly they will not show unless you enable the option Show hidden devices on the View menu.
Let me know the result.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the devices like you asked and all the miniports were back once I selected the "show hidden devices" option...seems promising!
