Apologies for my absence, unfortunately work has kept me away from the forums  :(

I am around all evening but please give Aura a chance to respond to your reply #18 so that I don`t confuse things.

Sorry about that ! Didn't realize that you replied to this thread.
I'll ask you to try to do a clean boot and tell me if the SVCHOST.exe process still takes a lot of CPU/RAM and if the start-up/boot is still slow. If it's not, then it's one of your start-up entry/service that is causing this issue and we'll have to identify it.

Hi,

I done clean boot but only one thing that changed is that for 5 minutes is 100% of CPU usage and then it is between 60-80% for next 10 minutes (mostly 68-72%). After 15 minutes it getting down under 10% and occasionally jump to 90-100%. Always most usage of CPU is from svchost.exe (system & network).

Waiting for further orders.

Not sure what has happened to Aura  :(

To begin with can you run Process Explorer to see if it identifies what is hogging the resources, no download required as you can simply run the exe from here

We should then look at tidying up the data on the HDD and limiting start up items.

Hi Wojtek25

please download and install the Process explorer that Phill linked to, expand the window downwards so it covers as much of the screen as possible, take a screen shot, then scroll and take another screen shot to cover the rest, then add them as attachments for Phill to look at.

Nev.
