Hi! I'm new here and would like to ask for help. I recently updated my windows 8 to windows 8.1 but I encountered a lot of problems after I updated so I decided to reset my laptop to remove all the files. I then found out that once you update your laptop to windows 8.1 the refresh & reset options won't work. I found a solution online though by downloading the Windows 8.1 Enterprise Evaluation ISO and followed the steps provided. I was able to successfully reset it but when it rebooted the screen turned blue (critical_process_died). I tried booting it in safe mode, tried the command prompt process as instructed online. After that it flashed an srttrail.txt problem. I researched in google for any other possible solution but I unfortunately could not find one. Please help.

Hi Eagen
I suppose that at this time you don't have any data on the computer that you need to save and you want to start fresh?
Do you have access to another computer to download the Windows 8.1 ISO?
If you have download the ISO that matches the Windows Editions that you have previously by visiting this Microsoft page. Don't worry about the windows key you can install Windows and skip the key because its stored on the computer BIOS/UEFI and windows will auto activate after accessing the Internet.
