Hi,

I have a Samsung HD smart TV, which only has an optical OUT port at the back (lots of IN ports...but no simple OUT port as I was expecting).

I need to connect Jelly Comb cordless headphones.

Research seems to indicate that I'll need a DAC Digital to Analog Audio Converter Box Adapter.

I am SO IN THE DARK it would be funny, if the tears didn't prevent the the humour from getting through.

If anyone out there could guide me in the right direction, I'd be relieved to say the least.

Thought I could just plug these [bleep] things in and now, instead, I have a huge tech challenge with extra equipment required.

So, if anyone can make this as simple for me as possible with their superior tech knowledge...well, I'll think loads of nice thoughts about you, for at least a month.

 :smashcomp:

can you provide the model? some of them have bluetooth and some don't.

If your tv doesn't, then something like this might work:  https://www.amazon.c...J2&tag=tbpre-20

It has a TOS link input.
