The one you have should be fine as long as it is fairly up to date.

Just wanted to confirm as I have not done before. When I boot from flash drive. Instead of picking repair, I pick other option. Will it then prompt me with option to keep files? Thanks again for your help.

If you have files that you need then I would recommend backing them up using one of the methods below and then performing a clean install of Windows that will provide you with the best results. However if you prefer to install and keep the files then when you get to the enclosed screen then select the Upgrade option.

It is also a guide idea to backup your drivers before the install. The following tool will work for you.

When you get to that screen, for clean boot you must select each partition and select Delete until you only have one item that shows unallocated space. This is what you will select to install Windows to. Let me know if other issues.
