Perhaps you need a new mouse?  You can right click on Computer and select Manager then Device Manager.  Click on the arrow in front of Mice and Other Pointing Devices.  Find your mouse then right click on it and Uninstall.  Reboot.  It will reinstall the mouse and sometimes that will help.
