Hi, I hope I am in the right department.

 

I am only getting sound through the Acer Monitor but nothing through the headphones.

 

The headphones use the plug on the front of the Aspire Desktop Windows 10, fully updated and legal.

 

The headphones will work when I plug them into the rear of computer.

 

I live in Australia so there may be a time lag between contact.

 

I am not fully computer savvy but can follow step by step instructions.

No go I'm afraid.

 

The video took me to places I have never seen,.

 

With the two links there were some settings that I could not find

 

It seems that your settings and mine disagree.

Hi all,

 

I may have found the soluion to the Headphone problem.

 

A good friend of mine said to me:

 

Right Cliick on the Sound Icon in the desktop taskbar

Left Click on Troubleshooter and Check the Headphones and let it run

A pop-up with Audio Enhancements should appear and Click Yes to Open Audio Enhancements 

 

A pop-up  with Headphone Properties and Select Enhancements

Check the First and Third in the list

I did this and when I played a song it nearly blew my ears off and it also works on the front plug.

There maybe a quicker way to do this but that is what he came up with and so far seems to work.
