OK, don't run Ewido yet (until the very end in RED):
Please print out the instructions here (or save it in Notepad) so that you can follow along more easily.
Boot into Safe Mode by restarting and then hitting the F8 key repeatedly until a menu shows up (choose Safe Mode from the list). In some systems, this may be the F5 key, so try that if F8 doesn't work.
Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on nailfix.cmd. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.
Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any):
F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [vfdvyuz] c:\windows\system32\typirrj.exe r
O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe
Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked.
Delete these if found:
c:\windows\system32\typirrj.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe
Restart your computer.
Download FindIt's.zip http://forums.net-in...=post&id=142443 to your desktop.
1. Unzip/extract the files inside to a folder on your desktop.
2. Open the folder. Double click on FindIt's.bat and wait for Notepad to open a text file. It will take a while so please be patient... Note: If you are having problems using FindIt's.bat (16 bit error), copy autoexec.nt from the C:\WINDOWS\repair folder to C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder. Now try running FindIt's.bat.
3. Then post the results here along with the new HijackThis log. Also post the Ewido scan results here.
Run CleanUp! and click on CleanUp! button. Once it's done, you may click the Close button. When asked if you want to logoff, choose No.
Now try running Ewido.

I want you to delete the nailfix program that you downloaded earlier. Download it from the link below:
Please print out the instructions here (or save it in Notepad) so that you can follow along more easily.
Download KillBox http://www.greyknigh...spy/KillBox.exe. Don't run it yet.
Please download Nailfix at http://users.pandora...chy/nailfix.exe Double click on it and install it on the desktop but do NOT run the files extracted yet.
Download Process Explorer from http://www.sysintern...ssExplorer.html
Run Process Explorer and find voqsyf.exe in the list of Processes.
Select the process and click Process > Suspend.
Then in HijackThis click Config > Misc Tools > Delete a file on reboot...
In the explorer Window select the file c:\windows\system32\voqsyf.exe
When prompted if you want to reboot click YES
Leave Process explorer running with the process suspended.
Once it reboots hit the F8 key to get the boot menu. Boot into Safe Mode and check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:
F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
O2 - BHO: Band Class - {01F44A8A-8C97-4325-A378-76E68DC4AB2E} - C:\WINDOWS\systb.dll
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {2CDE1A7D-A478-4291-BF31-E1B4C16F92EB} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Win Server Updt] C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [efutbdi] c:\windows\system32\voqsyf.exe r
O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe
Run nailfix.cmd now.
Run KillBox and check the box that says 'End Explorer Shell While Killing File'. Next click on 'Delete on Reboot'. Copy the below files and go back to KillBox. Go to File->Paste from Clipboard and then hit the button with a red circle and white X. Confirm to delete and when asked if you want to reboot, say no:
C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
C:\WINDOWS\systb.dll
C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe
c:\windows\system32\voqsyf.exe
C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe
Restart and boot into Safe Mode again. Try running Ewido. Once that's done (either it runs without problems or still freezes), restart and go back to normal mode. Post back a new HijackThis log (and the Ewido log if it completed successfully this time).
Please print out the instructions here (or save it in Notepad) so that you can follow along more easily.

Please tell me it's gone now I don't see nail anymore. Hopefully it's not just dormant and waiting for another attack
Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should 'not' have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.
Run Process Explorer and find msmkcf.exe in the list of Processes.
Select the process and click Process > Suspend.
Then in HijackThis click Config > Misc Tools > Delete a file on reboot...
In the explorer Window select the file c:\windows\system32\msmkcf.exe
When prompted if you want to reboot click YES
Leave Process explorer running with the process suspended.
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [hvxioc] c:\windows\system32\msmkcf.exe r
O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe (file missing)
Run KillBox and check the box that says 'End Explorer Shell While Killing File'. Next click on 'Delete on Reboot'. Copy the below files and go back to KillBox. Go to File->Paste from Clipboard and then hit the button with a red circle and white X. Confirm to delete and when asked if you want to reboot, say no:
c:\windows\system32\msmkcf.exe
C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe
Restart and see if you can run Ewido. If not, do a search for nail.exe and see if you can find it. If Ewido won't run in Normal Mode, try Safe Mode again.
Then restart and run a new HijackThis scan. Save the log file and post it here.
It may take a little longer for me to reply back. I will be taking a vacation starting tomorrow. I have asked the other staff/experts here to take over my topics just in case I can't get back to them earlier. So if anything, wait for another expert to help you or until I can get back online (at the hotel).

Hello Flagler23,
Greyknight17 is on vacation so I will be taking over for him
I need you to post a new HiJackThis log. After your next HiJackThis log is posted, it is extremely important not to shutdown, restart, or log-off your computer because the file that needs to be deleted will continue to change names on us.

Perfect!
Now let's finish off Aurora then move onto the others
I highly recommend printing this page out because I need ALL instructions followed exactly!
Important note, if you have ANY problems unzipping or running the Nailfix, skip the rest of the instructions, reboot into normal mode and let me know! The Nailfix must be run first!
Please download Nailfix from here:
http://www.noidea.us...050515010747824
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.
Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode and hit enter.
Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on Nailfix.cmd. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.
Then please open Internet Explorer (you won't be online so a blank page will come up!) Go up to Tools > Internet Options. Under Temporary Internet Files click the "Delete Cookies" button click OK. Click the Delete Files button, put a check next to delete offline content click OK. Then click OK to leave Internet Options.
Next, open Windows Explorer. You can get there by going to Start > My Computer then double-clicking "[C:]" Navigate to this folder:
C:\Windows\Prefetch
Delete ALL files inside the Prefetch folder! (Don't delete the folder just the files inside!) Once all of those have been deleted:
Please run HijackThis, place a check next to the following items, if found, and click FIX CHECKED:
F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - c:\windows\SvcProc.exe
Close HijackThis.
Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log.
