Yeah, unfortunately there is no way to burn images under Windows alone. You could, however, download a free trial of Nero and burn it using that.

Awesome. I'll go ahead and try that and let you know how it went. Thank you very much.

EDIT: Problem solved, it was of course my stupid self just burning CD images and not actual install CD's. :tazz: Nero worked great and Linux is up and running. Thank you all very much for your help and support. ;)

I don't believe xp supports burning images natively. You might have to get some burning software.... I believe both nero and ezcd creator support burning images not sure what else does though..... or if any freeware software does... I'll look if I get a chance.....
