Hi One Cool.
I sent you a PM note to let this topic just kinda drift away.
I was thinking of not bringing it back to the top with a reply
because I thought most here had read it and heard my
sincere WARNING.
Sure it was an old picture of my son with his Mustang.
He died in 1984 when this very car fell off the ramps onto him
while he was working under it...
His funeral was on his 18th birthday.
My entire purpose of starting this thread was NOT FOR SYMPATHY
but to warn young men, like yourself, to always always always
put a wedge behind each back tire if the car is on ramps and you
are under the car working on it...
Let me know if you have any more questions....PM me or write here.
Love, Janie
P.S. I read your note before you edited it....it was OK, not upsetting at all,
you were just trying to understand a few things, Right?

Please everyone, keep your comments on topic. There is no need to question flowergirls' reasoning for posting this thread, or anything of the sort. Trust me, if you are ever unfortunate enough to lose a child, you will realize that NO amount of time will completely take that pain away.

I'm sorry to hear about scott's death, Janie. Fate can be cruel. I'm sure he's watching over you now, though in a better place.., waiting for you. Some day you'll be with him again..

Thanks Oniketsoku for your thoughtful note.
Scott died many years ago...over 20 but the warning to you boys to put
wedges behind your back tires, if your car is on ramps, is still
the same warning.
That never changes; the need for safety precautions.
Just don't ever take chances...OKIE DOKIE FELLAS?
Janie
