Dan G, please PM me the answer to the original question.

I don't know the answer to the two minutes plus 2 seconds microwave question, but I have been known to do that very thing to make the lazy susan spin the item closer to me... I hate those twirly things. I know they improve efficiency, but I'm not tall, and my microwave is in a very awkward place (the pantry!) because my kitchen is ridiculously small for such a huge house.

Any coffee not steaming hot fresh from the pot should be poured into the sink and the coffee making ritual must begin again. Anyone reheating coffee is probably satisfied with instant, too, or (gasp) cold coffee from yesterday.

Does it have a rotating table?
Is there anything else in the microwave?

:)

You be 100% spot on! That is correct. the coffee was hot - so she put it in a couple more seconds till the handle spun around to her. Maybe the previous post gave away the answer!!

here is another one - following the rules of course!!!

If you know the answer (ie: you have heard/done this conundrum before, please don't just post the answer). However, if you work out the answer whilst asking/reading the questions, then please feel free to post your answer.

Don't be afraid to ask a question -- even if it's irrelevant, it is helping as it identifies the paths that people shouldn't be going down. Also, feel free to ask multiple questions in one post, to speed up the process.

A body is discovered in a park in Chicago in the middle of summer. It has a fractured skull and many other broken bones, but the cause of death was hypothermia

:tazz:

How did this happen!?? :)
