ran one pass on memtest and 0 errors. going to run hard drive test now and post back (but it'll be late tonight)

Run the Hard drive Diagnostic specific to your manufacturer. Also like I mentioned in the article run at least 7 to 8 passes to be sure.

bought new SSD and re-installed Win7. So far so good! :)
