We need to uninstall some programs.

• Press the + R on your keyboard at the same time. Type appwiz.cpl and click OK.
• Search there for each entry mentioned below, right-click the entry and click Uninstall one at a time

The list of programs to uninstall:

• Optimizer Pro
• SparkTrust
• anything from IOBit
• MyTurboPC
• TotalSystemCare
• Spybot Search & Destroy (this scanner is outdated)

After completing uninstalls, please manually reboot your machine!



Run Batch Script

Not really sure if these are even getting through to you.   It denied access to me and I could do nothing.  I tired several times and the same thing happened.   Just not getting what you want done but for some reason I cannot get in.  This computer does not like me at all.  My husband just shakes his head and walks away.  He is no help at all.    Do you want me to try the scan with DDS?  Maybe I will get that done.   Just to let you know Monday I won't be on the computer for I am going to the Dr.  I may be on in the evening for I always like to check my mail.  I know this is a pain for you and if you want, we can quit and I will take it to the shop.  You have been more than kind.

DESCRIPTION:     SC  IS A COMMAND LINE PROGRAM USED FOR COMMUNICATING WITH THE SERVICE CONTROL MANAGER AND SERVICES

USAGE:   Sc (Server) (command)  (service name)  (options 1)   (options 2)...

The option (server) has the form "Server-Name."

Then there is a list of commands.

Fix with Junkware Removal Tool

Please download JRT by Thisisu and save the file to your desktop.
Temporary disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware protection - instructions here.

• Right-click on icon and select Run as Administrator to start the tool.
• Follow the prompts and let this process run uninterrupted.
• This scan can take a while, depending on your System specs.
• Upon completion, a log (JRT.txt) will open on your desktop.

Please include the contents of that file in your reply.
Do not forget to re-enable your previously switched off protection software!
Please also manually reboot your machine after this procedure.



Fix with AdwCleaner

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save the file to your desktop.

• Right-click on icon and select Run as Administrator to start the tool.
• Follow the prompts and click Scan.
• When finished, please click Clean.
• Upon completion, click Report. A log (AdwCleaner[S*].txt) will open.

Hello,  a dear friend of my daughter came over and he said he could get rid of pop-up for me.  I said, "Be my guest."   He did get rid of it.  It took him close to an hour but it is gone now.  I have no idea what he did nor do I care.  So, that is one thing that is cleared up.  I do have other matters to work on but that will be later when we get my husband's tests done.  I shall look for you when I come back on.  Thank you for verything you have done.  It is so appreciated.
