I have seen the same product suggested on the forums many times both from UK and US sellers and have yet to see one complaint about them so hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised

phillpower2,
The adaptors have not yet arrived. Amazon says that they were shipped from China and I can expect them sometime before September 30th -- must be on the proverbial "Slow boat from China." (You may not be old enough to remember that song, if not try: )

Thanks for the update and video jsaklas, I have heard the saying before but not the song
That is a poor showing from Amazon, those type of adapters can be purchased in most decent computer type stores.

I agree Phill, I can walk into my local (And expensive) Maplin store and buy a complete universal SATA docking station (I have one) for a penny less than £25.00. quite useful tool for checking drives, and using them.
this is one such and the same that I have.

No doubt the local store would have adapters as well.

The kit never came (The slow boat from China must have sunk.) so I will try another vendor and get back to you guys (if and when it arrives). At least Amazon refunded my $7+.
