Hi, so I was trying to open a program and received multiple errors. The first stated 'The EXE4J_JAVA_HOME environment variable does not point to a working 64-bit JDK or JRE.' Upon closing the box another comes up saying 'The JVM found at EXE4J_JAVA_HOME is damaged. Please re install or define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME to point to an installed 64-bit JDK or JRE.' Lastly when closing that box a final one comes up and says 'The JVM could not be started. The maximum heap size (-Xmx) might be too large or an antivirus or firewall tool could block the execution.

I have already tried multiple times reinstalling and still no good. This all started after I updated Java, but I am unsure of what to do. I know for a fact it can't be firewall or antivirus because I have never seen a problem like this before.

Other things I tried were; Attempting to define the location, removing previous versions of Java.

Any suggestions is appreciated.

Hi Starsream196 :)

It would help if you could tell us what program you're trying to open and that gives you such errors. Also, I might have an idea of what you can do to solve this issue, but I'll wait to get more information on it first, just to be sure.
