Hi, Joe here. I am new to this community and I am hoping that I can get some help to correct a mistake I made. A while back i tried to make a server for Minecraft (a pc game) and messed with my environment variables and PATH's in the process. Now command prompt cannot recoginze most commands I type in (such as ping, help, ipconfig). I don't have any system restores that date back to before I messed this up. I would be very happy if someone could help me in correcting my problem since I don't have enough knowledge of this to fix it. Here are some screenshots for more information.

Sounds like the PATH environmental variable is messed up. It's missing

 

C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;

 

Add that back to PATH and all should be okay.

Thank you so much! It appears to be working just fine now. I didn't think the solution would be so simple, I wasn't sure how to go about this because I know that every computer starts to become unique in how it runs and looks for things as individuals install and uninstall software numerous times.
