ISP details acknowledged

You delete all of the BitComet entries in AutoRuns.

To disable (not delete) the other items that I identified = is also done in AutoRuns.

If I untick them, does that disable them?

I'm having problems unticking all of the Nero entries, I have done most of them, but when I try the others the autorun freezes and stops resonding :(

To avoid any mishaps please read the Autoruns tutorial that I previously post the link to, in this instance the To Disable or Delete? section tutorial here

  1. It appears then that unticking them is correct .... my brain cannot digest all that is written in that tutorial, one of the mishaps I have to live with these days, sadly - I try, but it just won't register ....

I'm having problems unticking all of the Nero entries, I have done most of them, but when I try the others the autorun freezes and stops resonding ... all the other things have been disabled .... RoboForm is so necessary for me because of all my passwords for different forums and etc: so when I can re-enter those it will be cool .... there is just one left lolz and it's quite stubborn   ....

Re-enable RoboForm at your leisure then if not having causes you problems not having it.

Regarding Nero, can I ask if you actually use it - or Cyberlink.

Any software that you do not use and are 100% sure of what it is can be safely removed in Control Panel.

Nero 7 essentials 1.13GB won't be removed, it goes through the motions, but stubbornly remains - I have tried removing it several times before in the past - always with the same results .... :headscratch:

I can't even find cyberlink lolz

Hi, nice bit of useful software is Revo isn't it, and well worth keeping for removing the unwanted stuff.

Just for information till Phill gets back to you, Cyberlink is actually a media software company, they make various products and one of the most popular being the Cyberlink DVD player. I did have that on a laptop that I since sold.

Have a look here, then see if you have a program that fits.

http://www.cyberlink.com/

Revo should be able to find it if you do wish to remove it.

Nev.
