Hello once again guys, slight change of plan!
I'm in need of a new pc build or somewhat cheaper for gaming that could run high-ultra perfectly fine
but I'm not sure if my graphics cards that I have that my bro left me could do the job.
If it can would it be a hassle to build a pc around the graphics card and the power supply or pc partpicker for me?
 

 

The graphics card is 

XFX CORE RADEON 7850 860M 2GB D5 2x mDP HDMI 2x DVI ( I have 2 of these)

Please if you could build a pc around these 2 that is capable of running high end games (new ones) on ultra/high at good fps that would be amazing but if the gpu cant handle it please say so.

Thanks for the fast replies, sorry I took so long, maybe around 500-700 (700 pushing it, but if it could mean running these new high end games on ultra/high - I wouldn't mind splashing out more).

Thanks for the information provided on the psu and the specs on the gpu.

Hopefully a good build can come out of this and if you could include in the budget a monitor also that would be sweet.

If you are still intending to to use the computer for video/photo editing, (your previous build enquiry), this configuration uses a Xeon E3-1241 v3 CPU, same architecture as an i7 but no iGPU.

It just pips the i5 4690K in gaming and outperforms it in aplications.

Thanks for the information don't stress too hard im available all day so take your time. I think I would mostly use it for gaming to be honest as I'm a novelist video/photo editor.

Your selected MB gets good reviews, > http://hexus.net/tec...-krait-edition/but, does not support the i5 4690K tdp (thermal design power) of 88 watts.

it will support the i5 4670K with a tdp of 84 watts, list, > http://hexus.net/tec...-krait-edition/ Options, a different MB, or use the i5 4670K.

 

 Selected RAM is OK, but not best practice as it is 1 x 8GB stick.   RAM does go west and if that single stick has issues, you have no working computer, best advice is 2 x 4GB kit = 8GB, if one stick fails, you still have a working system.

 

An after market cooler is not required.   The stock cooler is tested and designed to support the CPU, even if you use the Turbo key, also, where a cooler is supplied with a boxed retail CPU from both Intel/AMD and you use any different cooling solution, you have voided the 3 year warranty.   If you need to return the CPU for any reason and support is made aware of the altered specs, you could be denied a repair or replacement.   I advice using the stock cooler and if not satisfied, consider an aftermarket one, but you do so at your own risk.

Note, I have changed the RAM but not the MB or CPU. let us know which you want to change.

Not included the monitor as it is not one I would consider.   With your Crosfire GPUs you should be going for a 144Hz monitor. > http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B00B2HH7G0

I think I would just stick with the new motherboard you insisted, as long as it good!

As for the after market cooler if it voids warranty I won't be buying it then.

I will also factor in the 144Hz monitor - shouldn't add too much the price.

Also what would have 16GB of ram allow me to do? Is it necessary for a "more" better

gaming experience and a "faster" computer? Or is 8GB ram perfectly fine.

Just so there is no misunderstanding.

You want to keep the slightly faster i5 4690K CPU?

You want to change the MSI MB for a different one?

 

Re. RAM.   8GB is more than enough for a high end gaming build.   If you are going to dabble with photo/video editing or run multiple virtual machines, then 16GB or more is very desirable.  A person writing programs for, say games/development, would use one or more VMs for testing.   "Different virtualization techniques are used, based on the desired usage. Native execution is based on direct virtualization of the underlying raw hardware, thus it provides multiple "instances" of the same architecture as a real machine is based on," source, > https://en.wikipedia...Virtual_machine

I have selected the Asrock Exreme4 as it has everything your build requires and the high end components will cope with the stress of crossfire GPUs.   Colour is black, so changed the RAM, to match, same specs,  > http://www.asrock.co...e4/index.us.asp

Your case is still white, possible you chose it to go with your original colour scheme, do you want to change it for black?

If I'm honest I don't really mind what colour the case is so I might just keep it white.

Thank you for all the information provided I think I'll start purchasing all the stuff soon.

I'm just making sure I have all the right equipment and accessories added to the list

so I can make sure the PC is top notch and the cable management will be too.

I'm also right now just finding software to install the pc and etc.

Take care with the time period over which you purchase parts.   You can check for damage when you  receive a part, but not if it works OK.   Many parts have a 30 day DOA (dead on arrival) return policy and if issues outside that time, then you have to go though the normal RMA warranty path which can take a long time.
