I am having troubles with my brand new printer M2070 FW.
OS from my pc: Windows 7 Home Premium
The problem: I do not get anymore to make a scan from the Printer. That is: I only can scan when using the PC.
I explain: if I write click in the printer in the PC to scan, a program permits me to scan a document. They give me the option of jpg, bitmap, and so on. No PDF and worst no multiple PDF pages.
I have been able to scan a document in multiple pages of PDF when it was done from the printer. That is, I would choose the choice SCAN, then SCAN to Local PC, the printer would connect to the PC through a USB cable, then I would set the type of paper and the format I would have (that is PDF), then the printer would ask if there would be more pages or it would automatically do all the pages in a multiple PDF file in the pc.
Something happened however and I do not get anymore to make the printer sees the PC.
That is: when I try to connect via the USB cable from the printer to the PC it does not recognized that there is a local PC connected to the printer, although I can still print from the PC and scan from the PC.
Can / could any one explain to me please what I should do to have the printer seeing the PC again?
PS I am already changed the USB cable and the problem continued.
