Hey, let me just start with sorry if I put this in the wrong section as I'm new. The reason I posted this thread was to gain some advice from the experts in this field. At the moment I'm a sophomore in high school, and I've been considering a career in software development (I'd prefer applications software development). I just wanted to know if you guys have any advice for me? For example, what should I do now to prepare for such a career, what a typical day would be like, and what programming language would be best for me to learn first. I realize there is no "best" language but what language is most beginner-friendly? Thanks so much to those who reply, as I'm completely new to all this.
