That is what we believe happened. and consequently you are using an outdated driver. It is also possible that during installation the driver was not upgraded, thus also keping an outdated driver n the system. In your report I can see a difference in size, so there is an indication. Everything we have requested to this point was to confirm this, but Vista Security is not cooperating.i deleted one of the nvlddmkm files on the other driver folder that i put there and it said that is compatable with windows 2000, so is it possible ive downloeaded the one for xp when i have vista ultimate
I would suggest you download the lastest drivers compatible with Vista and reinstall.
Keep us posted.

Download WinAudit from here:
http://www.psdu506.d...uk/WinAudit.exe
Click on WinAudit.exe, then on Options. Click on None to clear the checkmarks. Select Display Adapters and click on Apply. Click on Audit.
Once finished, click on Save. Save the report on your desktop as a .txt document and post its contents in a reply.

nVidia Series 7 includes the following models:
Available models: GeForce Go 7700, GeForce Go 7600 GT, and GeForce Go 7600.

Now, the question would be wether you are running Vista 32 bit or 64bit. Did you use the automatic detection utility?
Hint:
When installing the drivers, disable UAC-User Account Control (Please remember to re-enable it afterwards when the driver is in place.):
- Click Start and then open Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel, click User Accounts and Family Safety.
- Click User Accounts.
- Click Turn User Account Control on or off.
