I think that confirms the flash player problem .. Now to look for a resolution
For firefox install this version
The required settings on the page are as shown
Then retry with Firefox

i downloaded the flash player for firefox after the screenshots and it worked. so, something is going on with flash player in IE.
i really don't like firefox, i have become accustomed to IE9 and yahoo.

If it works OK in Firefox then it means that I need to track down a possible solution to the Flash problem in IE. We will uninstall Firefox if you no longer wish it

Uninstall firefox using Programs and Features
Put a check mark in the box that says Remove my Firefox personal data and customizations during the uninstall
Then delete this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
I will see what I can find out about flash problems in IE

One of the areas I was looking at
Two further options worth a try
1. From Safety (on the Command Bar) disable ActiveX Filtering
2. Tools>Internet Options, Advanced tab, uncheck "Enable third-party extensions". Save your changes. Close ALL open browser windows. Restart your browser.

i had disabled active x filtering last night. it helped a bit, i just unchecked the third party extensions. i don't know if that did anything yet. is it possible to go back to an older version of flash player?

Yes I will hunt one out
First use the flashplayer uninstaller to clear the programme
Then download and install V11
