Did you forget to attach the log
I was just running the programme then my wifi went down for a bit, sorry
While we look at the list of drivers, what do you think about putting the GPU back in and then running the Dell test on that.
Edit to add: You have only included the one driver !
I'll switch the PC off & try that
New file attached
The IGPU info is below;
Ok, i didn't try to install the Intel UHD Graphics Driver again
Just ran the test, got to 85% then froze, GPU running at 100% & 40 degrees
Restarted with the power button & it froze 3 times trying to post this - it's random but seems worse with the card refitted
The IGPU info is below;
Driver Name : igdkmd64.sysAddress : 00000000`44E10000End Address : 00000000`461C4000Size : 0x013b4000Load Count : 1Index : 96File Type : Display DriverDescription : Intel Graphics Kernel Mode DriverVersion : 26.20.100.7262 The latest version at Intel ends in 7263 but does not offer any earlier one that matches the drivers that you have which is odd.Company : Intel CorporationProduct Name : Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Windows®Modified Date : 30/09/2019 22:46:24Created Date : 15/04/2020 19:57:42
The what??
I can work round a motorcycle with my eyes closed but this stuff is a different language altogether! lol
What the info in red means is that the drivers that you have installed for the IGPU do not correspond with the drivers that Dell have, these were the Dell drivers that you tried to install earlier.
It was asked back in my reply #13 but went overlooked;
When you post back with an update, can you also let us know if the power on button has been blinking at all.
Can you let us know the answer to this if you will.
Best remove the add on GPU as the PC clearly can` power it.
Chipset driver yes, the other two no.
Ok, i'll remove it again, sorry for overlooking that, i mustn't have understood the question or what was happening
No blinking light, i hoped there would be as i believe it's some kind of diagnostics.
Sorry didn't mean to post that 3 times! it didn't show when i hit the 'post' button
Back up & running here without the GPU
