How long did you let Latency Monitor run?  The processes screenshot looks really ugly but if it ran for a long time that might be OK.

Can you do it again for just 20 seconds?

This is what a really good hard drive (Western Digital Black) looks in HD Tune:

hdtunewd.jpg so you may need a new drive in the near future.

Right click on the clock and select Task Manager
(More Details)
Select Performance
Open Resource Monitor
Disk
Make it full screen
Look in the top pane and find the process with the highest Total (B/Sec)
and check the box in front of the process.
Wait 1 minute and then
Take a screenshot and post it.

I know it was over a minute the first time, the second time was 30 seconds exactly. I will rerun it for 20.

Did you get a screenshot of the Processes page this time?  This time we only got 6 page faults which isn't too bad tho I would prefer zero since each time you get a page fault the CPU has to stop what it is doing and write stuff to the hard drive then go back and read the stuff so it takes some time and slows thing down.

Were you able to get the task manager screenshot?

Lot of activity from System.  Go to Settings, Update & Security and Check for Updates.  If it finds an update let it install it then it will probably reboot.  Check for Updates again as often one update requires a second update.

I checked for updates and it updated a very small one but did not reboot. My computer completed a big update day before yesterday and did reboot.

Dell has several driver updates for your PC.  Some of them are marked urgent and some are very new.  Go to:

https://www.dell.com...desktop/drivers

See if you can update the

Qualcomm QCA61x4A/QCA9377 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Driver

Intel Graphics Command Center Application

Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver

It won't hurt to update any of the others but these three are critical.

When done rerun Latency Monitor and post the summary  and screen shots of the Processes and Drivers tabs.

LatencyMod Processes for exactly 20 sec. Incidentally, the computer seems MUCH faster than it has in months. By the way, something odd happened when I was downloading those drivers. I chose to download all 5. It was proceeding normally until it got to about 40% completion. At that time, I lost my internet connection (it wasn't my provider either) and I got an error message saying "Download Failed." I waited for a while and then i rebooted. I still had no connection and I had to manually reconnect but was able to. I returned to the Dell page and checked for updates to retry and it reported there were none and that my system was fully updated. Not sure what to make of all of that.
