Good afternoon everyone :)

I suck with electronics and I'm glad I have found this place.  It seems as if my mac was infected by a virus.  I used VirusBarrier to try and get the virus off but now my gmail won't load.

I can load the basic view but not the standard view.  I really appreciate any feedback as I don't have a clue what's going on.

Thanks in advance -- Mike

Hi Mikedavis,

Usually gmail standard view doesn't load when you have low speed Internet. Or having trouble with the resources that is need to be loaded in order to show standard view. Check your internet connection speed with fast.com. If you see the speed is ok and you can browse any other website without any problem then the problem is elsewhere. In this case, clear your browser cache. If you are using safari follow the steps.

  1. Click Develop menu.
  2. Click Empty caches.

If you can't find Develop menu then follow these steps.

  1. Click Preferences from the upper left corner.
  2. Next click Advanced.
  3. and then Show Develop menu in menu bar.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks

Shoaib
