i keep meaning to tell you... while planning for work and school ... which i have been doing all night...i have to research, observe, care for a pet from your native land ....WHITES DUMPY TREEFROGS ive had them for a couple of years. theres always more you can learn about them...some info is not even found in the "books" ... one has to talk to others or experiment...even the experts and semiexperts that i know disagree...im so curious~do the frogs inhabit secluded isolated areas or areas along with humans to enable daily interaction???????????

yes sir have not tried yet-been working...why are you anxious about the results :tazz: ok what about the frog. are they just hanging around like on the patios and on the grass etc? you do have grass there? only kidding

something is wrong...have not used the computer since 10/22...friend fiddled with it trying some stuff i was not really paying attention busy with...electicity turned off for a couple of hours on wed. did not check machine after...im not sure what its doing..let me fiddle with it for a moment..

the result of the 2 .vxd commands (are they called commands?):no file found

result of dir|sort|more oh wait caught an error
result for first vxd command is still file not found
result for second vxd command: bad command or file name
result for dir|sort|more: files abc like you satd
first vxd: i did not see it in the list
second vxd: found one similar: mpfirwl bak
should i delete ?

could some of the info be on the w2000

what do you think...

on the w2000 there is a file called...called something like i386 - the same name that there is a problem with on 98 - but i dont know what on it

i was scared but i kinda tried it but didnt know what i was doing so stopped

hope i didnt ruin the cp..

i'm pretty sure i told you (i must have) at the very begining of all this that i have w98se upgrade. do you know if any valuable applications and/or files could be on that cd. my cd-rom is working
when does one say ok mental gymnastics is great exercise, but..,and install...is it strickly a personal thing.

getting kinda tired...i didnt sleep..still have work and school stuff

Ok You are saying that you can get to to the cd drive now ?
If yes put your upgrade disk in the drive let it spin up.
At c:>d: enter Does this change the prompt to D:>
If yes
d:>setup enter
What has happened
Do you have the product code for the disk?

i'm pretty sure i told you a long time ago that i got the druve to work when i was doing some of that experimenting...i put the drive first in the order of startup and it started to work...i also have the w2000pro cd.
result of d:
invalid drive specification
