Well mine is kinda simple. DaneGirl. I have always had a Great Dane as my pet. 8 Years ago I got involved
with a local Great Dane Rescue organization. Shortly after starting to help them I adopted my 2nd Dane. Well then
a third one came by that I could not pass up on getting. This stayed fine at 3 for a couple years until a pair of Puppies came my way. I did have a home for them but after driving them there the people decided not to take them.
Since I had them with me, I stopped home for lunch, and brought them in the house. The other Dogs seemed to like
them just fine. I went to the store and bought them some puppy food and decided to keep them with me for a few days
before taking them to the kennel where we house the Rescue Danes.

After a few days i said oh Well I am going to keep them, and my BF had the same Idea. So I became the proud
owner of 5 Great Danes. Many neighbors knew me as the Lady with the Big Dogs, and a few friends started calling
me " DaneGirl " that is where I got it. My time doing Great Dane Rescue I helped Place over 800 Danes into new Homes.

It started as an inside joke in middle school (pedestrian crossing), and I have no clue why I'm still using it. It's really embarrassing to tell people it, yet I continue to use it.

I have two nicknames: Lord Tyraad and Dinotech.

Lord Tyraad was from my D&D days where I played a paladin knight. I kept the name for my Internet Identity.

Dinotech was created because I am a computer technician and my first name is Dino. My business name is Dinotech Computer Services or DCS. Yes, another acronym!

Of course, other people have nicknames for me that I can't repeat in public, but they are creative! :)

I have been called corny just about all my life. It started in school and went with me into the army. But remember I am not related to the chicken on the corn flakes box.

When I was in high school they called me "Lemon" because I use to carry a bag of lemon drops in my pocket. I still love them.

zz,

I would think "Pucker Lips" would be another name for you. So, the next time you get your drivers license, put in a name change for "Lemon Puckerlips" :)

Odeho19, is REALLY easy if you know me, it's a combination of parts of my real name, and it is also the most fortunate # ever in my life. Seems like my whole life the # 19 has always been there some how or some way. So I just use it. I'm certain there aren't 18 other Odeho's out there, but with as small as this little rock is getting, I wanted to make sure I got the one I wanted! LOL :)

So how did you get your nickname/handle/name? I'm admin, um because I'm the site admin. :)

I'm sure many of you have more interesting stories behind your choice of nicks, let's hear them! :)

My kids have paws & short legs, so I'm their daddy long legs

you can probably figure it out fairly easy. the "fd" is for ford, the "stang" is of course for mustang, and the "66" is for the year of my first classic mustang i bought and restored. i have a 64 1/2, a 65, and a 66 mustang.
