my computer In the System Configuration Utility dialog box, click the General tab, and then click Selective Startup. is all ready set up on that :)

well did that nothing happend the computer rand fine so what now it crashed when i tryed ti install a game ?? after i tryed the msconfig thing

okay managed to copy a error lol this pops up when i try to install

windows has shutdown to prevent damage to your computer

Thank you for that - it indicates either a disc error or RAM problems - lets check the disc first

There are step by step instructions on this page

Once it has completed then retry to load programme and let me know if the error recurs
