windows is ls searching for files to load. If it is still stuck after this time, it cannot find that last file, or the file is corrupt, so this step is a fail. Please restart the laptop, if it displays an error page, press and hold in the button untill it shits down.
all is not lost yet, I know it is very frustrating but we can still take further steps. If you can get hold of the Windows 7 disc, first, we can try a repair again, second we can try the steps from Nev
