Look in the Slimjet settings, you should be able to disable it there, please the example in the attachment below which is from my Chrome settings. You are welcome btw  Go to the full post »

Oh I definitely won't be tinkering with anything. I thought the issue was resolved, I just wanted to ask your advice first before accepting that to rule out anything since you are an expert in computers. I feel like this situation is fine for now and hope it doesn't return.  Thanks for your help and diligent efforts.
