Will an Acer Gtx 750 ti graphics card fit and run in an Acer xc-705?

Do you mean an ASUS Gtx 750 ti graphics, better still can you post a link to the card that you are considering.
If your computer is the same spec as the one here then your upgrade options are rather limited, this due to it being small form factor and the 220W PSU.

Did you overlook answering the above.
Found a good thread here regarding the same questions that you have but with the almost identical XC-605 the reply #4 by Greybear pretty much explains what you need to know.
A new case and bronze rated 400/500W PSU are what I would suggest if you are set on a GTX 750Ti, the higher wattage only because of the minimal difference in price, see examples here
